‘The Price Is Right’ model Amber Lancaster says her health condition has fans concerned
‘The Price Is Right’ Model Amber Lancaster Says Her ‘Body Is Wrecked’ After Filming On Her Own.

The Price Is Right model Amber Lancaster is getting candid about filming multiple episodes of the game show per day on her own. She shared that her “body is wrecked” and her feet have bruises on them.
“My body is wrecked, wrecked after two days back to work, as predicted,” she said in an Instagram Story on September 2. “My hips hurt. The balls of my feet are bruised. How does that even happen?”
“I’ve been off for six months. Normally, there are two models per episode. Well, they changed it to only one model.”
“You can’t see from TV, probably, but we basically have to be in 12 places at once,” she said. “So, it’s twice the amount of walking and being on your feet in heels. If we were in tennis shoes, no big deal.”
However, Lancaster went on to say she enjoys it more mentally because the day goes by faster. She’s constantly busy, thinking about what she needs to be doing next and interacting with the contestants while remembering which camera is going to be on her at what time.
“Someone who has ADD like myself, that is where I thrive. I’m hyperfocused. I am in the chaos. I thrive there,” Lancaster said. “It’s actually harder for me to stop and take a break and go back out.”
“Mentally, I enjoy it much better. Physically, my body is protesting.”
However, Lancaster shared that she missed so much while filming for 10 hours. She didn’t even have time to look at an email she got to sign up to volunteer for her son Russell’s class.
“I am in another world when I am at The Price Is Right,” the model shared. “I actually like it that way. I’ll get used to it. I’m just getting my bearings.”
Lancaster shared that, on top of her body hurting, she is also dehydrated because she barely drank water all day. She caught up on her hydration in the video while drinking water and putting a packet of Perelel hydration into it.
A premiere date has not yet been announced for Season 55 of The Price Is Right. Lancaster, Devin Goda, James O’Halloran, and Manuela Arbeláez have all confirmed they have been on set to film. Rachel Reynolds and Alexis Gaube have not yet shared anything, but they are expected to come back.
