Beloved talk shows’ return dates revealed as fans grow frustrated with ‘endless’ summer break.
THE return dates for the most popular talk shows have finally been revealed after an extended summer break.
Fans won’t have to wait much longer for the return of their favorite talk shows, as cameras are picking back up very soon.

For some, it’s been months since the program aired a new broadcast, leaving devoted viewers frustrated by the lengthy hiatus.
However, with the summer winding down, the weekday talk show circuit will return to business as usual, beginning as early as next week.

One of the longest-running network broadcast shows to return for another season is ABC’s The View.
The show, which debuted on the network in 1997, premieres its 30th season on September 8 after a several-week break.
The program’s last new live episode aired on August 7, before the show entered its standard late-summer break.
ABC has since filled the weekday morning hour with reruns until the next season kicks off after Labor Day.
All six current co-hosts are expected to be on the panel for the premiere episode, including moderator Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.
The Drew Barrymore Show

The Drew Barrymore Show, hosted by the titular actress, has also been airing reruns in place of new episodes throughout the summer.
Season 6 concluded with its finale on June 11, giving the host and crew a months-long break from the studio.
During the show’s hiatus, Drew has focused on other business ventures, including her collaboration with Walmart to exclusively sell her kitchen and furniture brand, Beautiful by Drew.
She also appeared to enjoy some much-needed downtime, as she shared a photo dump on Instagram from her shenanigans earlier this week with the caption, “Goodbye Summer!”
Drew co-hosts her Daytime Emmy-winning talk show with Ross Mathews and Valerie Bertinelli, who will appear for the Season 7 premiere on September 14.
Live with Kelly and Mark

Kelly Ripa has been off her syndicated talk show a little longer than her husband and co-host Mark Consuelos.
The couple co-host Live with Kelly and Mark weekday mornings, but they haven’t had a live broadcast together in weeks.
Kelly began her summer break early to undergo gum graft surgery, which Mark revealed alongside his guest co-host Kevin Jonas during the July 27 broadcast.
He spoke about his wife’s “painful” recovery, though he assured that she was “feeling better” just days after getting the procedure.
Mark had several guest co-hosts fill in for a couple of weeks before the show took its annual summer hiatus, including Carrie Coon and Michelle Buteau.
The show has been airing a mix of pre-recorded episodes and best-of encore broadcasts thereafter until Kelly and Mark both return for the Season 39 premiere on September 8.
The Jennifer Hudson Show

The Jennifer Hudson Show has gone dark longer than any other daytime talk show, with the Season 4 finale airing on May 22.
Pre-taped segments and repeat broadcasts aired during the show’s usual timeslot for all of June, July, and August.
Fans grew concerned that the show, hosted by powerhouse singer Jennifer Hudson, would never return amid the end of several other rival daytime talk shows.
Sources exclusively told The U.S. Sun in February that The Jennifer Hudson Show was “in serious danger of cancellation” after the abrupt axing of Sherri Shepherd’s talk show Sherri.
Fellow American Idol alum Kelly Clarkson also recently ended her run as the host of The Kelly Clarkson Show.
However, Jennifer’s show has lived to see another year, and returns with its fifth season on September 14.
The Tamron Hall Show

Former Today show host Tamron Hall is also continuing her reign as the host of The Tamron Hall Show.
While the daily show hasn’t aired a new broadcast since May 28, it’s back on the schedule for the start of Season 8 on September 14.
In the meantime, the show has aired repeats and even released a pre-taped new episode on June 19 for its annual Father’s Day Extravaganza, co-hosted by Roy Wood Jr.
Tamron has won two Daytime Emmy Awards since the show debuted in September 2019.
Watch What Happens Live

Following suit with other talk shows preparing for their post-Labor Day returns, Andy Cohen‘s beloved Bravo show, Watch What Happens Live, is making its grand return on September 8.
The long-running broadcast, which features A-list celebrities and reality stars chatting about pop culture news, also took a brief late-summer hiatus.
The last live episode of Season 23 aired on August 16, with guests Kristen Stewart and Alia Shawkat.
Encore episodes have since aired in its place, ahead of the show’s fall return.
The show debuted in July 2009 and has become a late-night staple with Bravo boss Andy at the helm.
