Vanna White has been a major part of Wheel of Fortune for years. However, some fans have expressed concern that she could be leaving the game show. This followed a heartfelt message she sent to members of the show’s crew.
Vanna White Had A Message To The ‘Staff & Crew’ Of Wheel Of Fortune
White has been a co-host on Wheel of Fortune since 1982. She took over for Susan Stafford around the time that Pat Sajak took over for Chuck Woolery.
Since then, White has been part of the show through many changes. Notably, she started co-hosting alongside Ryan Seacrest after he joined the series in 2024.

In a recent share on Instagram, White shared a touching tribute to the crew as another season wrapped up on the show. She wrote, “Thank you so much to ALL the staff and crew of Wheel of Fortune for an incredible Season 43! We could not have done it without each and every one of you!” In response, Wheel of Fortune‘s own Instagram account shared, “We love you, Vanna!”
Fans Were Previously Worried About White Leaving The Show Earlier This Year
On social media, some fans shared concern that White was saying goodbye to the show. As one fan asked, “Is she retiring?”
That said, White’s comments didn’t directly claim she would be leaving and other fans don’t think she is leaving. As one fan noted, “No, she is just acknowledging the hard work of the team behind the show.” Another shared, “They just wrapped up the filming for the season. She said she is going to take one year at a time.”

As previously reported, White admitted that she had considered leaving the series when Sajak also left the show. However, she decided to stay on, working alongside new host Ryan Seacrest. After renewing her contract, she previously shared that she would take things on a yearly basis, as the fan had shared. Despite this, just earlier this year, fans thought White would be saying goodbye to an era after she reflected on her years on the show in another social media share.
Taking to the comments, some fans still had a few more questions for White. Of course, many fans hoped to see her on Season 44, especially if they were hoping to appear on the show themselves. That said, many fans also touched on White’s heartwarming reaction. Some comments included:
