Adam Levine Whispered “Help Me” to Make This “Really Tough” Decision on The Voice.
“Oh my gosh, how are you gonna choose?” Kelly Clarkson asked her fellow Coach after a “phenomenal” Knockout.
Sometimes, it’s hard to be a Coach. Like when it comes to the Knockouts, and everyone on your team is super talented! Coach Adam Levine faced that dilemma recently on The Voice: Battle of Champions, when Jeremy Keith faced off against Mike Steele, and the Maroon 5 frontman just couldn’t decide who deserved a spot in the Top 9 and who would have to go home.

Following their performances, Levine slumped over and turned to his fellow Coaches, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend, to whisper, “Help me, help me.” And, unfortunately for Levine, they both struggled to provide much guidance.
“That was very close,” said Legend.
“Oh my gosh, how are you gonna choose?” asked Clarkson, telling the two Artists, “You’re both so phenomenal.” She then added to Levine, “This is horrible… you’re screwed.”

“This is hard for you, just think about how hard it is for me!” complained Levine, begging, “John, help me.”
Legend helped Levine separate the Artists by their strengths and weaknesses; one was perhaps a better vocalist, while the other had the “intangibles” that make a magnetic performer.
“I thought they were great and they should both stay … It’s really tough,” Levine told Host Carson Daly, struggling to make a decision. “I don’t know. This sucks because I really do love you both and I really think you both should be on the show, and you both should be on my team and I don’t like this.”
Letting out a big sigh, Levine ultimately choose Keith as the winner.
The Voice: Battle of Champions
The Voice Season 29 is shaking things up, premiering on Monday, February 23 at 9/8c on NBC and streaming the next day on Peacock.
Officially titled The Voice: Battle of Champions, Season 29 features the show’s first-ever three-Coach lineup, putting The Voice OGs Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, and John Legend back in the red chairs for an epic showdown.
The Voice Season 29 will also introduce fresh format updates such as the “Triple Turn Competition” and the “Super Steal.” You also won’t want to miss the exciting return of CeeLoo Green in a totally new role.
Michael Bublé faced the same angst as a Coach on The Voice

Just a season before, The Voice Coach Michael Bublé called out how hard the Coaching decisions can be on the show… and how not helpful it is to hear from viewers dissatisfied with the Coaches’ choices. During the final night of Knockouts on Season 28, Bublé remarked, “You understand that we don’t know what we’re gonna do. It’s really hard. And plus, we know you’re judging us,” telling the audience, “Online, you’re gonna say, ‘That Bublé doesn’t know anything… even though he’s incredibly handsome!'”
This was after he’d said basically the same thing during the Battles, joking, “You know what’s amazing, you guys? That online, no matter what I choose, we’re gonna get killed for making the wrong choice. There’s gonna be 50% of the people that say, ‘You idiot!'” Sounds like Levine feels the same pressure. Hang in there, fellas!
See what happens next on The Voice: Battle of Champions by watching new episodes on Monday nights at 9/8c on NBC, and catch up the next day on Peacock.
