Celebrity Jeopardy! has become a fan-favourite on the channel but it won’t be kicking off this Fall as previously hoped.
New listings from ABC have confirmed that it won’t be airing any brand new episodes until 2027.
The fifth series of the show was originally expected to begin airing much earlier after being unveiled as part of ABC’s parent company’s Disney upfronts in 2027.
ABC did not offer up anything further but simply confirmed: “Celebrity Jeopardy!, which was previously announced for fall, will also return in 2027. These premiere dates will be announced at a later date.”
Ken Jennings will return as host once more.
The star hosts all of ABC’s linear output for the franchise.
On the programme, the celebrities compete for their chance to win a HUGE $1million for their chosen charity.
Those who come second and third also bank a cool $200,000.
The cast for the upcoming run is yet to be revealed and is expected to drop much closer to the premiere date.
The fourth season of the show featured a mixture of celebrities who took part across the first through third seasons of the show.
