It is never just a plain day in the Big Brother house. Season 28 Houseguests witnessed a near plane crash in the backyard that had the live feeds going crazy.
Season 26 alum Angela Murray sat in the backyard on a chair on August 31 as two planes could be heard off-screen. Yash Patel was in the pool, and they also caught his attention as he pointed up to them.
Off-screen, Survivor‘s Dee Valladares can be heard saying something about a Los Angeles Police helicopter, and then, “Oh, and a plane. That’s not good! Whoa!”
“Oh, they’re gonna touch! They’re gonna touch!” Yash yelled from the pool.
“No!” Dee said.
“Oh, my God!” Angela screamed.
Yash stood up and said, “Yo. What the f**k, bro?” He looked at Angela, who yelled again. Her jaw dropped, and her eyes widened. Then, the feeds cut out to the Big Brother logo, signaling they’d be right back.
It is not clear if the planes actually crashed into each other, but there were no reports of a plane crash in Los Angeles, so it is safe to say that the crash was averted.
Planes used to fly over the Big Brother house often, but when some of them would be messenger planes, sharing information about a Houseguest in the game. CBS then enforced an anti-banner plane and outside-interference rule, but planes are still allowed to fly over the house. Cease and desist letters have been given out.
The live feeds eventually came back up, where a fan shared that Yash was running around the pool, laughing. More fans reacted to it in the comments.
