‘Big Brother’ Makes Numerous Season 28 Schedule Changes After Competition Cliffhanger

Get ready for even more schedule changes, Big Brother fans. The medieval competition episode had fans watching the show an hour later than normal, and still didn’t deliver all of the results. Here are the rest of the schedule changes for Season 28.
Fans will get to see the rest of the medieval competition play out on Wednesday, September 2 at 8/7c in a two-hour episode. From there, the HOH, nominees, POV, and Blockbuster will all be played and revealed. Then, another Houseguest will be evicted on September 3 at 8/7c. Big Brother: Unlocked will also have an hour-long episode on that Friday.
Then, the following week is regularly scheduled programming, with the Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday episodes all airing at 8/7c. Another Houseguest will be evicted, and it will be down to the final seven.

On Sunday, September 13, the episode will shift from 8 to 8:30 due to an NFL doubleheader and a delayed 60 Minutes. The time may change for this episode if the football games go to overtime.
For the rest of the week, the episodes remain at 8/7c, but both the Wednesday and Thursday episodes will be two hours long. This has not been confirmed, but that will most likely mean a Double Eviction is happening to get it down to the final five.
Then, the next Sunday, the episode is back to 8/7c. On Wednesday, September 23, the episode will be shifted to 10/9c due to the two-hour Survivor premiere. It is still expected to be a 90-minute episode.
Unlocked will air for one last time on September 25. Then, on Sunday, September 27, the episode will air at 9:30/8:30c. This is because after football, the Video Music Awards are scheduled to begin at 7:30 and run for two hours. Again, with football and award shows, expect even more delays. However, if the VMAs are delayed on CBS, they will simulcast on MTV.
The 90-minute finale will air on Thursday, October 1 at 8/7c. There, the winner will take home $750,000. Second place will receive $75,000, and America’s Favorite Houseguest will take home $50,000. If you forget any of the changes or simply can’t watch them, they will stream on Paramount+ the day after.
