A FOX game show has made a sudden schedule change just one week after its premiere.
Hit game show The Floor has altered its airing slot from 8pm to 9pm, in just one week.

Its hour-long premiere last week aired at 8pm, with the next episode tonight due to air at 9pm.
They quietly revealed the news in an Instagram caption.
“There’s some unexpected talent ready to claim territory,” the account penned.
“Watch an all-new episode of #TheFloor Wednesday 9/8c on FOX,” they added.
Rob Lowe hosts The Floor on FOX.
He has hosted the high stakes competition since its premiere in Season 1 in January 2024.
Rob serves as both host and producer.
The Floor involves 81 contestants who compete against each other.
Its description on the show’s website states: “‘The Floor’ is a trivia battle in which 81 contestants stand on 81 squares on a massive game show floor, competing for a whopping grand prize.”
According to Deadline, when the show first aired in 2024, the LED floor is split into 100 equal squares, with “each representing its own field of knowledge.”
The outlet continued: “The first challenger, selected at random, must choose one of his or her neighboring opponents to go head-to-head in an epic quiz duel in the opponent’s category.
“The winner takes over the loser’s square, gaining valuable ground as they expand their territory, while the loser exits the game.
“The winner must then choose – do they continue on and attempt to secure another square? Or do they let The Floor choose a new challenger?”
In late 2023, the network released The Floor’s Official Trailer in which the show is referred to as “the most epic game show ever created.”
The Floor’s contestants are competing for a large sum of cash.
According to the show’s website, the winner receives “a whopping grand prize.”
