Don’t worry, y’all! The Kelly Clarkson Show isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
A representative for the Daytime Emmy award-winning daytime talk show confirms to Entertainment Weekly that — despite a recent wave of online speculation — there are no plans for the series to wrap at the end of its current seventh season.
“Rumor!” they wrote, before noting that the program’s producer and distributor NBC “will advise directly if there is a show update.”

They added, “We are not even halfway through season 7!”
Rumors first began to swirl surrounding the status of Clarkson’s talk show last week, with one insider telling Page Six that the program isn’t “sustainable anymore” amid the ever-changing daytime television landscape.
Still, another told the outlet that people were “jumping the gun” when it came to announcing the show’s cancellation, noting that “nothing is definite yet, and it’s still a long season.” Thankfully, it appears Clarkson isn’t bidding a fond farewell to Studio 6A just yet.
The Kelly Clarkson Show celebrated its season 7 premiere last September with a “Kellyoke” performance of The Weeknd’s 2019 hit “Blinding Lights” as well as interviews with A Big Bold Beautiful Journey stars, Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell.
In her opening monologue, Clarkson explained that the entirety of season 7 was about “finding the light and shining it on people who are really try to making a difference” in their community.

The show’s executive producer, Alex Duda, confirmed to EW at the time that they’d be shining that spotlight on others in two brand new segments: Life Well Lit and Celebs With Skills.
“When things are tough, [it’s that] Mister Rogers saying: ‘You look for the helpers.’ And that’s what we always try always try to do,” Duda said at the time. “So that’s why our premiere this year was just about going back to that and finding the light. And [Clarkson’s] always said that since the beginning of the show that that helps her, and I think, hopefully, it helps the viewers, too.”
As its title suggests, Celebs With Skills sees stars visit the program to teach Clarkson a useful talent. Past stars include Parks & Rec alum Nick Offerman, who educated the grammy-winning singer and a group of children on the importance of woodworking.

Life Well Lit, meanwhile, is all “about people just spreading joy,” Duda said at the time. “We had this woman who came on, she started a retro mall-walking in her in her town,” she continued. “They just dress in ‘80s clothes and they mall-walk through their local mall, and she’s trying to get others to do it.”
This week’s lineup is slated to feature interviews with The Testament of Ann Lee actress Amanda Seyfried, Sliving legend Paris Hilton, Heated Rivalry star François Arnaud, and the cast of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.
The Kelly Clarkson Show airs weekdays in syndication. Check your local listings.
