Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is set to go on break on December 18 after three more episodes, but before fans say goodbye for a few months, the show just got an exciting new look. Collider is thrilled to partner with CBS to exclusively preview a new sneak peek at Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2, Episode 8, which will air tomorrow at 8 pm ET on CBS and begin streaming on Paramount+ shortly after. The next two episodes will both release on December 18, and then the show will be on hiatus until it returns for the second half of Season 2 on February 26.

Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2, Episode 8, titled “Bitin’, Spankin and a Load of Yankee Psychobabble,” will show what happens when the pair moves into Georgie’s mother’s house after Mandy’s mother bites their son.

In the sneak peek for the episode, which can be found below, the trio sits at the table deliberating the pros and cons of spanking, while Georgie recalls all the times he was disciplined with the method as a child. It’s unclear how long they’ll be staying at Georgie’s mother’s house, but Audrey is planning a surprise Christmas trip for everyone that will come to a head in Episode 10 next week.

Starring in the lead roles of Georgie and Mandy in the show are Montana Jordan and Emily Osment. Rachel Bay Jones stars as Audrey McAllister, with Will Sasso starring as Jim McAllister, Dougie Baldwin as Connor McAllister, Jessie Prez as Ruben, and more. The show was written and created for TV by Steve Holland, Chuck Lorre, and Steven Molaro, and it serves as a direct continuation of Young Sheldon, which went off the air last year.

Has ‘Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage’ Been Renewed for Season 3?

CBS has yet to decide the fate of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage beyond Season 2. It’s unclear at this time if the show will be renewed or cancelled, and while these conversations are likely happening right now, it will be some time before fans know anything about them.

Renewals and cancellations for CBS’ fall slate typically come ahead of season finales in the spring. Young Sheldon ran for seven seasons on CBS, and its parent series, The Big Bang Theory, ran for 12. It would be surprising to see Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage pulled off the air after Season 2, but stranger things have happened in the cutthroat world of network TV.
