JEOPARDY! has announced the unexpected return of a hunky fan favorite, and viewers are already celebrating.

Drew Goins, who won the Jeopardy! Second Chance tournament, will appear on the beloved game show once again.

Drew, 30, shared the exciting news on his Instagram account.

The journalist posted a photo of himself and Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings smiling together on set.

“And if I told you I went back on jeopardy what then,” he captioned the post.

“Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament quarterfinal is Feb. 9!!”

Sarah Whitcomb-Foss and Michael Davies will also appear on the Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament.

They shared the news during an appearance on the Inside Jeopardy! podcast in January.

Jeopardy! loyalists are looking forward to Drew’s return to their TV screens, and they made it known in the comments.

The prize for winning the ToC is $250,000 and a coveted slot in Jeopardy! Masters.

Jeopardy.com notes: “All 4-time and over winning players starting from 04/10/24 will be eligible for a future Tournament of Champions.”

“Presence on this list does NOT guarantee an invitation to compete. Other eligibility rules apply and final selection is up to the producers’ sole discretion.”

The Washington D.C.-based contestant revealed some interesting direct messages he received after appearing on the show in 2025.

Among the stars who slid into his DMs was Abbott Elementary star Lisa Ann Walter.

“Lisa Ann and I have a little, we’ll respond to each other’s stories every once in a while now,” he said in an interview with The U.S. Sun at the time.

“She’s truly the nicest person. I love her so much.”

Their friendship began when she was originally set to appear on the Tournament of Champions following her Celebrity Jeopardy! victory.

Scheduling conflicts, however, kept her off the show, opening up a spot for Drew.
