We’ll take another Jeopardy! spinoff for this summer, Ken. ESPN Jeopardy! is the latest addition to the Jeopardy! universe, and fans won’t have to wait long after the syndicated season ends on July 24 for more Jeopardy!, because it just set its premiere date and shared who will be on it.
ESPN-related celebrities, including sports commentators and celebrity sports fans, will compete for $500,000 for their chosen charities and the title of ESPN Jeopardy! Champion. The material will cover the full spectrum of ESPN, making it a dream for sports fans.
The show will have six quarterfinal matches. The winners from those games will move on to three semifinal games. Then, there will be three contestants left who compete in the final.

When will ESPN Jeopardy! premiere?
According to Jeopardy!‘s website, ESPN Jeopardy! will premiere on Friday, July 31. However, it wasn’t clear if this is a weekly show or a daily show.
Who will host ESPN Jeopardy!?
The spinoff will be hosted by Monday Night Football announcer Joe Buck. Buck has provided coverage for six Super Bowls, 24 World Series, and five U.S. Open golf tournaments. He also hosts talk shows Joe Buck Live on HBO and Undeniable with Joe Buck on DirecTV’s Audience Network. He has a podcast, Daddy Issues with Joe Buck and Oliver Hudson, with actor Oliver Hudson.
Buck is no stranger to Jeopardy!. He previously hosted a week of the game show in 2021 after Alex Trebek‘s death.

The competitors were announced on July 9 along with the premiere date. They include:
Quarterfinal 1: Christine Williamson, Jeremy Schaap and Kimberley Martin
Quarterfinal 2: MJ Acosta-Ruiz, Peter Schrager and Omar Raja
Quarterfinal 3: Jon Hamm, Keegan-Michael Key and Adam Pally
Quarterfinal 4: Hannah Storm, Jay Harris and Amina Smith
Quarterfinal 5: Kyle Brandt, Jamie Erdahl and Manti Te’o
Quarterfinal 6: Kevin Negandhi, Domonique Foxworth and Madelyn Burke
Where can you watch ESPN Jeopardy!?
ESPN Jeopardy! will air exclusively on Hulu, Disney+, and the ESPN app. A source told Front Office Sports that the program may also run on linear TV on ABC and ESPN’s streaming platforms after the premiere.
Although Jeopardy! (and Wheel of Fortune) began streaming on Hulu and Peacock this season, ESPN will be the second Jeopardy! spinoff to air initially on a streaming platform. Pop Culture Jeopardy!, hosted by Saturday Night Live‘s Colin Jost, originated on Amazon Prime Video and aired Season 2 on Netflix.
