‘The Price Is Right’ Model Alexis Gaube Explains Her Absence From Show

Alexis Gaube isn’t going anywhere! The Price Is Right fans wondered where the model had been since she hasn’t appeared on the game show much lately. Gaube cleared up fans’ worries and assured them she would be back.

“Where Alexis?” a Reddit user asked. “I feel like Rachel [Reynolds], Amber [Lancaster], and Devin [Goda] are the main models, with James [O’Halloran] and Manuela [Arbeláez] just filling in when someone needs a day off. I can’t remember the last time Alexis was even on the show. Did she not sign on for this season?”

Gaube shared that this season of The Price Is Right wrapped filming in December, so the models have had plenty of time off before the next season begins. However, fans noticed that as Season 54 winds down, she was not featured in the later episodes.

“Yeah, I think she’s been in one episode in the last month. I almost posted this same post earlier,” a fan responded.

“It’s just taping dates that make it look odd sometimes. Last week’s shows were shot in mid-November; this week’s shows were taped in mid-December. Air dates vs. taping dates get jumbled around sometimes, so there can be weird stretches of who appears when,” another said.

“I believe it’s just how it’s taped or scheduling conflicts. She was very active in the fall and winter, which makes me think she had other things going on when the spring and early summer shows were taped. If you check her Instagram, she’s still posting videos from the set and is preparing to start filming the next season,” a third said.

When Gaube posted a video of her on the set of The Price Is Right during the Mardi Gras episode in March, with the caption, “Defrosting,” fans rushed to the comments. The model confirmed that they were starting to film the new season “soon.”

“Haven’t seen you at The Price Is Right,” an Instagram user said.

“I know. They had me on a lot at the beginning of the season! So I had to ride the bench for a while,” Gaube replied.

“Miss you on The Price Is Right. You’re so funny, love your sense of humor,” another fan said.

“Ha ha thank you! I’ll be back,” Gaube replied with a fingers crossed emoji.

“My favorite model! Come back soon. I miss you,” a fan said.

“So glad to have you back! Missed you,” another commented.
