Happy’s Place season 2 trailer teases an unwelcomed guest for Bobbie and Isabella

The drinks, the laughter, and the family dynamics will continue in Happy’s Place, premiering its second season next month on NBC. Reba McEntire, Melissa Peterman, and new favorite Belissa Escobedo, who lead as Bobbie, Gabby, and Isabella, as well as the rest of the bar crew- Steve, Takoda, and Emmet- will invite us back into their lives at the tavern, no matter how chaotic it becomes!
Season one was a delightful introduction to the characters and the world of Happy’s Place. Its lighthearted comedy and Reba’s classic, sharp one-liners as she developed on The WB/The CW’s Reba made it an instant success for NBC and a fan favorite. Friday nights are much better while visiting Happy’s Place.
A little critter joins the Happy’s Place team in the season 2 trailer
As we head into the fall, season 2 promises to be bigger and better. Bobbie and Isabella continue to establish their sister relationship, despite their significant age gap. Even with past and impending challenges, Bobbie and Isabella consistently find innovative ways to navigate them.
On October 6, NBC released the season 2 trailer, and similar to last season, the drinks will be served at Happy’s Place. Yet, there’s one unexpected patron that no one saw coming, and albeit that he’s a tiny guy, he’s leaving behind a mess and doesn’t want to leave, even after being chased.
Yep. Just another day at the tavern.
NBC additionally unveiled the second season synopsis, and in it, secrets are looming among the staff. Through the spillage, it’s up to Bobbie to clean up the mess and restore everyone’s once luminous spirits.
“In season 2, Happy’s Place reopens its doors, and a long-buried secret comes to light that will test loyalties and shake things up inside the tavern. Through it all, Bobbie must remind everyone that family isn’t what you’re born into, but it’s the people that stand beside you, even in the workplace.”
Season 2 of Happy’s Place will bring in a Reba favorite
That’s not all that will happen in season 2. One of the original cast members from Reba will make a guest appearance. Enter Joanna Garcia Swisher, who portrayed Reba’s onscreen daughter, Cheyenne, in the WB hit. While we don’t know much about Swisher’s Happy’s Place character, what we do know is that her name is Kenzie and she’ll make quite an impression with the staff, or so we assume.
Swisher is the third of the Reba stars reuniting with McEntire. In season 1, Steve Howey and Christopher Rich had their moments as Danny and Maverick, respectively.
Happy’s Place season 2 will air on NBC on November 7 at 8/7c.
