American Idol season 24 winner Hannah Harper has announced that she’ll be going on tour with country music superstar Brad Paisley in August and September 2026. Hannah has a busy few months ahead of her after her American Idol win, as her String Cheese tour kicked off on June 2 when she made her Grand Ole Opry debut in Nashville, Tennessee. The tour, which is named after her original audition song that went viral, will continue until November 14, when it wraps up at the Bartlett Performing Arts & Conference Center in Bartlett, Tennessee.

In addition to Hannah’s solo tour, she’ll be opening for American Idol season 10 runner-up and country music star Lauren Alaina on some of her Stages tour dates. Hannah is one of three opening acts for the tour, along with Shane Profitt and Ashley Kutcher. Hannah will perform on six of Lauren’s tour dates, including October 15 in Springfield, Missouri; October 16 in Little Rock, Arkansas; October 17 in Columbia, Missouri; October 22 in Lexington, Kentucky; October 23 in Cleveland, Ohio; and November 12 in Nashville, Tennessee.

American Idol Season 24 Winner Hannah Harper Will Open For Brad Paisley

In a Facebook post, Hannah announced that she’ll be opening for Brad on six of his tour dates in August and September. She included a photograph of Brad, taken from backstage at one of his concerts as he looked out at the crowd, along with the tour dates. Hannah wrote, “Y’all… this is a BIG one [crying emoji]. The String Cheese Tour is making a few pit stops this year to join the one and only Brad Paisley!”

Hannah then went on to explain how she met Brad when he was an American Idol season 24 mentor. She said, “I first met Brad in Hawaii when he was a mentor on American Idol. He was so encouraging from the very beginning, and I’m incredibly grateful that he believed in what I was doing and saw something special in my music.”

Brad not only was an American Idol season 24 Hawaii mentor alongside Keke Palmer, but he also appeared during the auditions to help judge Luke Bryan play a practical joke on his fellow judge Carrie Underwood, during which he fed hilarious lines for Luke to say through an earpiece during a fake audition. Brad also returned for the finale, during which he sang a duet of “I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song)” with Top 9 finalist Lucas Leon.

In her Facebook post, Hannah shared the six tour dates during which she’ll open for Brad. They include August 27 in Bridgeport, Connecticut at Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater; August 28 in Boston, Massachusetts at MGM Music Hall at Fenway; August 29 in Bangor, Maine at Maine Savings Amphitheater; September 24 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza; September 25 in West Springfield, Massachusetts at The Big E; and September 26 in Richmond, Virginia at Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront.

Hannah concluded her post by saying, “I’d sure love to see some familiar faces out there. If you’re coming, tell me which city and who you’re bringing. See y’all soon.”

Throughout her time on American Idol season 24, Hannah proved that she has the potential to become a country music legend, and opening for Brad and Lauren will help her to do that. She’s following in the footsteps of an icon by becoming the first female country music artist to win the show since Carrie’s season 4 victory in 2005. With her viral “String Cheese” audition, which gained over 120 million views during the competition, and the spectacular performances that followed it, Hannah has already demonstrated that she has what it takes to become one of American Idol’s brightest stars.
