Carson Daly started dating his now-wife, Siri Pinter, in 2005, but before they got together, he dated some of the most sought-after ladies of the early 2000s.

The Today show contributor’s past love life has been in the spotlight amid the promotion for his ex Jennifer Love Hewitt‘s new film I Know What You Did Last Summer. The actress also starred in the original movie back in the ’90s, and when the film came up on Today, Daly’s cohosts Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush Hager questioned whether he attended the premiere with Hewitt in 1997.

“I’m not sure, I can’t remember 30 years ago,” Daly quipped, to which Guthrie responded, “We know what you did that summer!”

Jennifer Love Hewitt

Daly and Hewitt were an item for about a year in the late 1990s. Daly revealed in 2000 that he found out about their breakup from a radio show.

“I woke up to Howard Stern telling me my relationship with [Jennifer] was over,” he told People, according to Entertainment Tonight. “Then I heard Steve Kmetko on E! say, ‘Just off the Associated Press: Jennifer Love Hewitt and Carson Daly have officially broken up.”

The Voice host said he told Hewitt, “If we were going to break up officially like this, maybe we could have just talked about it. I don’t see why you had to tell your publicist. And now I have been publicly humiliated.”

In the mid-2000s, Hewitt appeared on Daly’s talk show and admitted that things “ended a little weird.” Daly assured her that it “didn’t matter” and they buried the hatchet.

Tara Reid

Daly met actress Tara Reid when she attended an MTV spring break event in 2000. At the time, Daly was working as the host of Total Request Live.

They got engaged that October, but split the following year before making it down the aisle.

Reid told CosmoGirl in 2002, per People, that she was “numb” after the breakup, adding, “I literally thought I couldn’t breathe. Every restaurant, every food, every song reminded me of him. I’m okay now, but there are times I definitely miss him. I’ve never had my heart broken before.”

Daly was linked to Jaime Pressly after they were photographed together at MTV’s New Year’s Eve bash to kick off 2002. However, it’s never been confirmed that they had a romantic relationship.

Although Christina Aguilera and Daly have never confirmed if they dated, they were rumored to be a couple in the early 2000s.

Eminem fueled the rumors on his song “The Real Slim Shady” with the lyric, “Christina Aguilera better switch me chairs, so I can sit next to Carson Daly and Fred Durst, and them argue over who she gave h**d to first.”

Daly met his wife when she was working as a writer’s assistant on Last Call with Carson Daly in 2005. They got engaged in 2013 and tied the knot in 2015.

At the time of their wedding, the couple had already welcomed their first three children. Their son Jackson, who walked Pinter down the aisle, was born in 2009, followed by daughter Etta in 2012 and daughter London in 2014. The couple completed their family in March 2020 when they welcomed daughter Goldie.
