They’re both coaches on the latest season of The Voice.

And John Legend revealed on Tuesday that he’s known fellow judge Adam Levine for quite some time.

Speaking with Seth Meyers, the 40-year-old confessed prior to their respective marriages and kids, they used to ‘date in the same circles.’

‘Adam and I have been friends for quite a while, we dated in the same circles,’ he said.

‘We would hang out at like Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition parties.’

But before any fans could comment on his past dating habits, the EGOT winner continued: ‘We’re both married with two kids now. Things have settled down.’

And it appears as though what John had manifested came through, with current wife Chrissy Teigen a former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model.

Adam also got blessed with Victoria’s Secret Angel, Behati Prinsloo – and is the father to her daughters Dusty Rose, two, and Gio Grace, one.

They married in 2014 after beginning to date in 2012.

Chrissy and John are also parents to daughter Luna Simone, two, and son Miles Theodore, nine months.

They wed in Italy in 2013 after the beauty first appeared in his 2007 Stereo music video.

And it’s not the first time John’s former partying ways have come alight, with the Cravings writer previously mentioning his dating antics in her 2016 Cosmopolitan cover.

‘I didn’t know it, but John used to be a notorious modelizer,’ she revealed.

‘To me, he was the sweetest teddy bear. What’s funny is that I get along with everyone he’s ever been with. I end up really liking them.’

Last year saw Chrissy gush over her man, thanking him for all the times he was there including her dark period when she suffered Postpartum depression.

‘I try to deprecate him because he’s so perfect. I got very, very lucky … I don’t know who else could put up with all the s**t we are constantly dealing with,’ she told Us Weekly.

‘Kids, friends and work are hard, but John is the easiest part of everything.’

Speaking about her rough time she had following the birth of Luna, Chrissy added: ‘I lost all interest in everything. I couldn’t get out of bed. I kept all my pajamas in the pantry because I didn’t want to go upstairs.’

‘Sitting with John, our doctor pulled out this book and was like, “Do you have these feelings? Would you be happier tomorrow if you didn’t wake up?” And yes, I probably would be. That’s a big deal! I didn’t realize how bad it was until I was out of it.’

John continued: ‘It’s a struggle to be a good partner and help. I think the key for us was finally understanding what was happening and getting help.’
