Michael Bublé Floats Voice Collab With Blake Shelton & Riley Green: “Let’s Start…”

Did the Canadian-born star just spill the beans about an upcoming country supergroup?

Michael Bublé playfully suggested that he’d be open to forming a country “supergroup” with fellow Voice Coaches Blake Shelton and Riley Green.
Bublé is deeply embracing country music, collaborating with producer Dann Huff on an old‑school country album he describes as a “love letter” to the genre.
The Voice returns in September 2026 for Season 30 with Coaches Riley Green, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, and Queen Latifah.

Michael Bublé has an idea that fans of The Voice would immediately be on board with!

How to Watch

Watch The Voice on NBC and Peacock.

On May 17, the former Voice Coach attended the 2026 American Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada, and spoke with Extra on the red carpet and revealed that during the ceremony, he would be sitting at the same table as his fellow Voice alum Blake Shelton. When asked if he’d be open to a future collaboration with Shelton, the Canadian-born crooner gave a candid answer.

“I’m ready to have a drink with him, that’s for sure,” Bublé said with a smile. “I’m at a table with him tonight, so we just gotta be good boys and not get kicked out.”

Still, the idea of a collaboration has actually crossed his mind. “Listen, who knows? Let’s start a supergroup,” Bublé suggested. “Cody [Johnson], Blake, oh yeah, let’s go. Riley Green? We’ve got some Voice alumni there.”

While Shelton was one of the OG Voice Coaches, Riley Green will make his Voice Coaching debut in the upcoming 30th season this fall on NBC, while Bublé has been a Coach for three seasons.

The “Haven’t Met You Yet” singer has, after all, been dipping his toes into the world of country music; in fact, Bublé is working on a country album.

“I love country music, and I have loved country music my whole life. I went to Nashville, I have a producer named Dann Huff… and I have made a love letter to country music,” Bublé revealed on the Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast. “It’s old-school, it’s not like, modern, it’s my interpretation. I have never had an experience that has been better musically. I am so excited to put out this record.”

So far, the country music world has welcomed the singer with open arms. “There’s humility, and there’s goodness, and there’s faith, and there’s all these things… I’m really grateful to be a part of it,” Bublé told Extra after calling the community a “beautiful universe.”

Although there will be no new episodes of The Voice this summer — that’s when fans will be glued to the latest season of America’s Got Talent, after all —  the newest season is right around the corner. Season 30 is set to premiere this fall on NBC, in September 2026.

As usual, there’s an all-star lineup of Coaches slated to compete from their oversized Coach Chairs. In addition to country superstar Riley Green, the Coaches will be rounded out by Adam Levine (returning for his 19th season), Kelly Clarkson (her 11th), and Queen Latifah (competing for the first time) for the show’s milestone 30th season.
