Michael Bublé is the king of the Christmas season—and he’s adding one more reason for him to keep his crown.

Fans of the singer know him best for his iconic holiday album (aptly titled Christmas), which he released back in 2011. Michael has dropped a bunch of singles and records since then, and recently surprised fans with an announcement that’ll make their holidays just a bit merrier and brighter.

As The Voice season 26 winner Sofronio Vasquez revealed on Instagram, he and his former coach, Michael, teamed up for a new holiday single. The song is called “Maybe This Christmas,” and it debutd on November 28. Sofronio couldn’t help but get emotional about the chance to work with Michael in this way.

“When you’re new, you pray for someone to give you a chance,” he wrote in the caption on November 22. “@michaelbuble didn’t just give me a shot, he gave me his time, his wisdom, and his voice. I’m still in disbelief. ‘Maybe This Christmas’ all yours this November 28, 2025.”

It didn’t take long for Michael to share some encouraging words for his former mentee in the comments.

“And I can’t wait for them to hear the Tagalog lyrics !!!!!! 🇵🇭❤️🎄,” Michael replied.

What’s more, fans were ecstatic to see Michael and Sofronio finally work together on a project that’s meaningful to both of them.

“OMG. I am so excited for this. Congrats @sofroniovasquez and of course the @michaelbuble 🎄❤️,” one person exclaimed in the comments. “Thanks for this gift 😍🙌,” another declared. “It’s gonna be on repeat EVERY CHRISTMAS SEASON! Congrats CHAMP! 🥳👏🏼🙏🏼💜,” a different follower added.

Fans may remember Sofronio as the first artist Michael ever mentored on The Voice in late 2024. After winning season 26, Sofronio teased how he and Michael had plans to collaborate on music in the future.

“I tried writing songs, but English is not my first language,” he told Parade in December 2024. “So, I would really love to hook up with a collaborator. Of course, with Michael Bublé’s idea, he knows who are the perfect people to be connected to and to be talking to. I’m going to trust in them, but, of course, I have a really good vision about my music so I’m so excited to be working on that.”
