Happy’s Place Has Officially Been Renewed for Season 3 on NBC! (DETAILS)
Reba McEntire and the Happy’s Place cast are serving up some very exciting news as NBC announced that Season 3 is officially in the works.
That’s right, the NBC sitcom has been renewed alongside the hit hospital sitcom St. Denis Medical, meaning Bobbie and the rest of the Happy’s Place cast will be back to serve up another round of laughs and heart. Between Happy’s Place‘s mythic reputation for collecting comedic powerhouse guest stars and the endless workplace shenanigans unfolding at the Knoxville tavern, you never know what might happen next at Happy’s Place.
Just as McEntire teased to NBC Insider, Bobbie and the gang have led fans on a “good emotional rollercoaster” on Season 2 and now they’ll be on this ride for another season of twists and turns.

While an official premiere date for Happy’s Place Season 3 has yet to be announced, NBC announced on February 2 that Happy’s Place has been renewed for the 2026-27 season, meaning it won’t be too long until you see McEntire, Rex Linn, Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Tokala Black Elk, and Pablo Castelblanco in a brand new season.
“Both St. Denis Medical and Happy’s Place have delivered comedic brilliance over their first two seasons, truly connecting with our audience with hilarious characters, and remain hugely important and successful programs to our primetime and Peacock lineup,” Lisa Katz, President, Scripted Content, Lisa Katz, President, Scripted Content, NBC & Peacock, said in a statement. “A huge thank you to the producers, casts, and crews of both shows who have brought these wonderful stories to life and will now continue to tell their laugh-out-loud stories.”

Season 2 of Happy’s Place has kept the giggles coming as Bobbie and her friends tackle whatever chaos comes their way, whether that be a workplace curveball or a hysterical guest star making their way to the Knoxville tavern. With pop-ins from comedic powerhouses like Christopher Lloyd, Carol Kane, and Saturday Night Live star Cheri Oteri, it’s no wonder audiences want to keep these hysterical brush-ins coming on Season 3 of the NBC sitcom.
“I sound so corny, but I tell people [that set] is literally the happiest place. I mean, it’s that title, I walked into the warmest, most supportive group of people…” Oteri told NBC Insider amid her Season 2 guest appearance. “[The Happy’s Place cast are] the nicest people in the world. It was such a pleasure… It’s like the whole place is having so much fun with everything, you just feel a part of this group, that you just feel lucky. Everybody’s having fun there. I’m telling you, walking onto that set is like you’re just walking into a big hug.”
Watch Season 2 of Happy’s Place on Fridays at 8/7c on NBC and the next day on Peacock.
