Season 2 of Happy’s Place has been a hilarious watch as Reba McEntire’s Bobbie and her hilarious staff tackle whatever chaos or customer comes their way. And just like the first season of the NBC sitcom, Happy’s Place has become a beacon for hysterical guest stars.

Season 1 guest stars included Justina Machado, Larry Cedar, and Shameless star Emma Kearney, to name a few of the iconic pop-ins from stars. Andy Favreau

Favreau guest starred in Happy’s Place Season 2’s “Strawman” as Chance, a sperm donor whom Gabby did some snooping on while searching for the perfect match, inviting Chance to the tavern to get the inside scoop. Chance was less than thrilled by the ambush, leading Gabby to ultimately go for a different donor.
Favreau is well known for his role as Matthew Cook in Mindy Kaling’s comedy series Champions, as well as recurring guest appearances in series like 2 Broke Girls, Young & Hungry, The Mick, Will & Grace, and Single Parents. Some of Favreau’s other television appearances include Grey’s Anatomy, FBI: Most Wanted, Little Fires Everywhere, and a guest appearance on Chicago P.D.
Happy’s Place Season 2

Starring Reba McEntire, Rex Linn, Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Tokala Black Elk, and Pablo Castelblanco, Season 2 of Happy’s Place features even more nostalgic reunions and sitcom hilarity.
The romance between Bobbie and Emmett has been full of “fireworks,” as the two shared their first kiss and even defined their relationship. But, while love is in the air, Emmett is carrying a long-buried secret on Happy’s Place Season 2.
Cheri Oteri

Saturday Night Live icon Cheri Oteri made an iconic Season 2 debut in “Mouse in the House” as Monica, a blunt and intimidating health inspector with eyes for Bobbie’s new boyfriend, Happy’s Place chef Emmett (Rex Linn). After the health inspector visited the tavern, the staff scrambled to hide a mouse on the loose, leading to several hysterical moments. NBC Insider chatted with Oteri about her guest appearance, where she revealed Monica will actually be returning to Happy’s Place several times throughout Season 2.
“[The Happy’s Place cast are] the nicest people in the world. It was such a pleasure,” Oteri told NBC Insider. “It’s like the whole place is having so much fun with everything, you just feel a part of this group, that you just feel lucky. Everybody’s having fun there. I’m telling you, walking onto that set is like you’re just walking into a big hug.”
Christopher Lloyd

Comedy icon Christopher Lloyd guest starred in Season 2’s “Izzy and the Professor” as Clive, a frisky man who forgot his cell phone at Happy’s Place, leading Gabby and Steve to eavesdrop on his incoming texts. Clive arrived at the bar eager to get his phone back, where both he and his snooping new friends had a lot of explaining to do.
Boasting a multi-decade film and television career, Lloyd is a comedic powerhouse, famous for his roles in Back to the Future, Clue, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Angels in the Outfield, and The Addams Family films, among many others. Some of Lloyd’s recent projects include Wednesday, Hacks, The Mandalorian, and A.P. Bio.
Carol Kane

Carol Kane joined Lloyd’s Clive in “Izzy and the Professor” as his spitfire wife, Theresa, who showed up to Bobbie’s tavern curious about why her husband hadn’t responded to any of her salacious text messages. After learning that Clive and Theresa swap these cheeky messages back and forth as “foreplay,” Gabby and Steve promptly backed off as the saucy couple enjoyed a nice meal together after retrieving Clive’s phone.
Aside from also starring in The Addams Family franchise alongside Lloyd, Kane has delivered iconic performances in films like Scrooged, Annie Hall, and The Princess Bride. On television, Kane is famous for her roles in series like The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Poker Face, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
JoAnna García Swisher

Happy’s Place fans are in for another Reba reunion as McEntire reunites with JoAnna García Swisher on Season 2 of the NBC sitcom. Swisher will guest star in an upcoming Season 2 episode as Kenzie, a local Knoxville influencer hired to represent the bar’s social media campaign.
For years, Swisher starred alongside McEntire on Reba as Cheyenne, her daughter who got pregnant at 17 and married her high school boyfriend, Van, played by Steve Howey. Some of Swisher’s other television credits include Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Party of Five, and Freaks and Geeks. Following her Reba tenure, Swisher went on to appear in must-see projects like Privileged, Better with You, The Internship, The Mindy Project, and Once Upon a Time.
Eric Stonestreet

Eric Stonestreet appears on The Kelly Clarkson Show Season 11 Episode 12.

Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet is making his way to Season 2 of Happy’s Place as Dr. Russell Peabody III, an unconventional therapist. After Bobbie and Isabella have a conflict at the bar, the two sisters attend couples counseling at the office of Dr. Russell Peabody III. Despite his erudite name, he presents as something very unorthodox in his approach to therapy.
Stonestreet has appeared in a variety of film and television projects, including big-screen hits like Bad Teacher, Identity Thief, and the Secret Life of Pets franchise, where he voiced Duke. Aside from his Emmy-winning role on Modern Family, some of Stonestreet’s other primetime credits include CSI, Bones, Pushing Daisies, NBC’s American Auto, and Dexter: Resurrection.
Jane Lynch

Primetime icon Jane Lynch guest stars in Season 2 as Valerie, the mother of beloved Happy’s Place bartender Gabby. When Gabby’s mother, Valerie, comes to visit Knoxville for the first time, it turns out that she has a secret that not only throws Gabby for a loop, but everyone in the Tavern as well.
Some of Lynch’s must-see films include A Mighty Wind, Best in Show, 40-Year-Old Virgin, and Wreck-It Ralph, among several others. Aside from her award-winning role as Sophie Lennon in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Lynch is applauded far and wide for her Emmy-winning role of Sue Sylvester in the hit musical series Glee. Lynch has also flexed Emmy-winning hosting chops on Hollywood Game Night and NBC’s The Weakest Link.
New episodes of Happy’s Place Season 2 will return on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 8/7c on NBC, and as usual, will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
