Happy’s Place has reunited sitcom stars before, and the TV comedy is about to do it all over again in the next episode, as teased in a new promo. Reba McEntire stars on the series with Melissa Peterman (her former Reba cast member), Belissa Escobedo and Rex Linn (her now-fiancé). Happy’s Place season 2 is currently airing on NBC.
In Happy’s Place season 2, episode 6, titled “Izzy and the Professor,” Gabby and Steve come across someone’s missing phone that Takoda found in the men’s restroom. The phone belongs to a man named Clive, played by Christopher Lloyd, who returns to the establishment to retrieve it. His wife is Theresa, a free-spirited woman played by Carol Kane.
In a promo video from NBC, Theresa is shown making out with Clive in Happy’s Place as she tells him, “You naughty boy.” When Clive appears to flirt with Bobbie, Reba’s character replies, “I like antiquing but not that much.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Isabella enters the dating pool again. Bobbie gets excited about meeting the new man in her life. Unfortunately, happiness turns to shock when she realizes that Isabella is dating her professor from school.

NBC also released 16 images from this episode of Happy’s Place, further teasing the hilarious storylines that will play out across the half-hour episode. Some of the images feature Clive and Theresa, including one of them kissing. Gabby, Steve and Takoda are also seen trying to figure out what to do with the lost phone they discovered.
Other images reveal Bobbie and Isabella talking to each other, presumably about the latter dating her professor. There are also two photos showing Isabella standing next to an unknown man, who could be her date.

Lloyd and Kane’s guest-starring roles on Happy’s Place come 47 years after their comedy Taxi debuted on ABC (with the final season airing on NBC). The series, which aired for five seasons from 1978 to 1983, centered on taxi drivers in NYC and starred Judd Hirsch, Jeff Conaway, Danny DeVito, Marilu Henner, Tony Danza, Andy Kaufman, and Randall Carver.
When Taxi first debuted, Lloyd appeared as a guest star before becoming a series regular starting in the second season. Kane, meanwhile, was a guest star in season 3, a recurring actress in season 4 and finally a series regular in the final season.
After Taxi went off the air, Lloyd starred in several movies, including Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, the Back to the Future franchise, Clue, The Addams Family, Dennis the Menace, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, and Nobody 2, as well as several guest appearances on multiple TV shows; he most recently appeared in Wednesday season 2.
Kane’s acting career continued as well after Taxi, with Jumpin’ Jack Flash, The Princess Bride, Scrooged, Addams Family Values, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Hunters and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds just some of her many credits, along with Wicked on Broadway.
Now Lloyd and Kane are reuniting once again on Happy’s Place. After the sitcom reunited several Reba alums, the producers are now working their magic on a reunion for another classic comedy. The final episode of 2025 is sure to bring a lot of laughs and smiles from fans.
Happy’s Place airs Fridays at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
