Brian Scartocci Had a Residency in Austin
Scartocci grew up in New Jersey. He moved to Austin after appearing on The Voice and was a member of several bands before he decided to go solo.
The singer became known locally as “Mr. Monday Night” for his Monday-night residency at the Skylark Lounge.
“They gave me a garbage night, and I’ve turned it into something beautiful, which is basically the story of my life,” he shared with EASTside Magazine in 2020.
The soulful singer then moved to The White Horse, one of Austin’s best honky tonks. It ended after the allegations against him became known.

Scartocci Isn’t the Only Contestant From “The Voice” To Face Legal Issues
Kata Hay, who shared a kiss with coach Christina Aguilera during the tenth season of The Voice, was arrested last month in Oklahoma.
“She currently has outstanding warrants for vehicular homicide in connection with a motor vehicle crash on Long Hollow Pike near I-65,” a notice from the Goodlettsville Police Department in Tennessee stated before her arrest.
Hay has an open DUI case stemming from an incident on Dec. 10. She is also charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and driving with an open container. It is estimated that she caused more than $1,500 in destruction.
In 2022, Kay was also arrested and convicted for having sexual contact with a minor. She was sentenced to six months in jail.
