‘The Voice’ Season 28: Who Went Home on Night 3 of the Knockouts Tonight?
Spoiler alert! Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Bublé decide which of their teammates will make it through the Knockouts for Season 28 of ‘The Voice.’

The Season 28 Knockouts on The Voice carried on on Monday night with coaches Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, and Niall Horan selecting which of their teammates are paired up for the sing-off, but with the artists selecting the song they will sing, giving America a chance to know who they are as performers. For the Knockout Rounds, there are no Saves or Steals so only the winning artist moves on to the Playoffs.
This season, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and multi-Grammy Award-winning Joe Walsh and Grammy Award-winning multi-hyphenate Zac Brown are serving as the Mega Mentors. Brown, the frontman of Zac Brown Band, made his Voice debut when he joined Michael and Snoop to coach their teams. Walsh, on the other hand, joined Niall and Reba to mentor their remaining artists.
To date, Aubrey Nicole (Team Reba), Ava Nat (Team Niall), Ralph Edwards (Team Snoop), Aiden Ross (Team Niall), Max Chambers (Team Bublé) and Toni Lorene (Team Snoop) have all won their Knockouts and are moving on to the Playoffs.
A new twist for the Knockouts is the “Mic Drop Button.” Each coach is given a button to use on an artist from their respective teams whose performance blows them away. Then, viewers at home will have the opportunity to vote for the “Mic Drop” winner among the four. The Mic Drop artist with the most votes will be awarded a performance at The Rose Parade Presented by Honda, live on Jan. 1, 2026. Michael was the first coach to use his “Mic Drop” Button and he awarded it to Max Chambers. Tonight, Niall pushed his button for DEK of Hearts.
Here’s our spoiler-filled recap of who went home on The Voice tonight.

Knockout Round 1: Conrad Khalil vs Ryan Mitchell from Team Reba
Ryan: “Zombie” by The Cranberries
Conrad: “Closer” by LiloCox, Nia M, and Frankly
Winner: Ryan Mitchell
Reba said: “Golly, it’s just really hard because you’ve got such great talent and you don’t want either one of them to leave. Ryan is different than anybody in the competition. We don’t get that much alternative rock on the show, so to have Ryan fill that void, perfect.”
Battle Round 2: Marty O’Reilly vs Rob Cole from Team Bublé
Rob Cole: “Wondering Why” by The Red Clay Strays
Marty O’Reilly: “The Letter” by Joe Cocker
Winner: Rob Cole
Michael said: “Rob has a voice that I can listen to all day. When it hits the radio, it can only be Rob. I do feel like Rob can be the winner of The Voice. I can’t wait to see what’s next.”
Battle Round 3: Trinity vs Jack Austin from Team Bublé
Trinity: “I’m Your Baby Tonight” by Whitney Houston
Jack: Not shown
Winner: Trinity
Michael said: “I think you have this gorgeous, soulful voice. You have a lot more potential in you. Trinity reminds me of Sade. She has the ability to play within R&B and pop. She looks like a star, sounds like a star, and is a star.”
Battle Round 4: DEK of Hearts vs Kayleigh Clark from Team Niall
DEK of Hearts: “What If I Never Get Over You” by Lady A
Kayleigh: “Blue” by LeAnn Rimes
Winner: DEK of Hearts
Niall said: “I honestly think that was the toughest decision I made at The Voice. Kayleigh is an incredibly talented singer. I just have a feeling about DEK. They just bring something to the show and music that makes me excited. When they sing together, it’s magic.”
Then Niall hit his “Mic Drop” Button for DEK of Hearts.
“Every time DEK stands on stage, they’re just so solid, so consistent, and they always challenge themselves. I think they deserve a change for America to hear more of them.”
The Voice airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Streams next day on Peacock.
