In addition to finding out the newest winner of The Voice, the season 28 finale will feature exciting performances by some of your favorite artists.

On Monday, Nov. 24, PEOPLE can exclusively announce that Khalid and XG will take the stage for a performance on Dec. 16.

While it is still unknown what Khalid, 27, will sing, the girl group is set to perform their song “GALA.”

For XG — which includes members JURIN, CHISA, HINATA, HARVEY, JURIA, MAYA and COCONA — their performance on The Voice will also mark their TV debut in the United States.

XG made their debut as a group with “Tippy Toes” in March 2022. Since then, their second mini album AWE landed in the Billboard 200 and embarked on their first world tour.

“GALA” is the lead single from their forthcoming first full-length album THE CORE – 核, which is set for release in January.

Meanwhile, Khalid released his latest studio album, After the Sun Goes Down, in October. At the time, he opened up to PEOPLE about the record’s inspiration.

“I wanted to make music that I like to listen to myself,” Khalid said.

The “Location” singer continued, “It’s like a huge ode to just the beautiful icons that come before me. Singing a melody of a Britney [Spears] song or watching a Rihanna video really charged my freedom of expression as a child. I’ve always dreamt of being this pop star. I really tapped into that little boy and gave him his shine that he always wanted.”

The “Better” singer — who made his debut in 2016 — also said the album was “a celebration of being out and a representation of my queerness.”

“My friends listen to the new music and are like, ‘Khalid, who is this guy? What is this side of you?’ It’s vulnerability, in a sense; I’m embracing my sexuality — relentlessly, fearlessly,” he said.

The season 28 finale of The Voice will air in two parts — on Dec. 15 and 16 — on NBC. This season, each coach will select one contestant from their team to advance to the Lives, with viewers voting on the fifth and sixth finalist.
