Reba McEntire has something to say about her TV future—and you better believe we’re listening.
When Happy’s Place first premiered on NBC back in October 2024, folks adored seeing the country superstar take on her first sitcom since the end of Reba. And as the show continues to air new episodes for season 2 every Friday night, it’s easy to say viewers were likely anxious about the prospect of Happy’s Place potentially not coming back for another season.
Well, it looks like fans don’t have to worry about that just yet, thanks to a surprise announcement from NBC. Posting a video on Instagram on February 2, the network thrilled fans by revealing Happy’s Place has been renewed for season 3.
“Another round, please,” the caption read alongside the clip. “Happy’s Place has officially been renewed for Season 3! 🍻.”
As soon as the news broke about the future of Happy’s Place, Reba commented about the prospect of returning for season 3.
“We’re back!” she replied.
What’s more, long-time viewers were ecstatic about the idea of seeing Reba returning to their TV screens this fall.

“Yahoooooooooo!!!!!! I ❤️ this crew 😍,” one person wrote in the comments. “👏👏👏 So excited for our Happy’s Place family! 👏👏👏,” another cheered. “So happy and excited we all can continue to meet at Happy’s Place on Fridays!! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for us. Congrats Reba and cast for a fantastic show! 🙌🙌🥰,” a different follower penned.
Now, we are absolutely thrilled about this for Reba and her castmates! And given how she works alongside her fiancé, Rex Linn (she portrays Bobbie to his Emmett), it’s clear she loves the idea of having her partner by her side in this stage of her career.
“We’re running lines constantly,” Rex shared with People about their dynamic ahead of Happy’s Place season 1 premiering in October 2024. “But every once in a while, I’ll sneak by for a quick kiss, just a peck on the cheek and keep on moving. It’s fun.”
We love this for them, and congrats!
