Happy’s Place’ Stars Tease a Mind-Bending Season 3 Cliffhanger So Dramatic
Happy’s Place Season 3: Release date, timeslot and those cliffhangers
The series stars Reba McEntire as a woman who inherits a bar alongside her estranged half-sister.
In Happy’s Place, sitcom and country music all-star Reba McEntire plays Bobbie, a woman who co-inherits her late father’s bar alongside her previously-unknown half-sister Isabella (Belissa Escobedo).

The Season 2 hour-long finale aired Friday, April 24th, 2026 and brought characters to both romantic and professional crossroads, leaving audiences wondering whether the show would be returning for Season 3.
Fortunately we can confirm that NBC has renewed Happy’s Place for Season 3, and you can expect those episodes to arrive in October 2026.
Thanks to their father’s bequeathment, Bobbie and Isabella are co-owners of the titular bar and grill. In the season finale, Isabella convinces Bobbie to attend therapy with her, leading to the revelation that Bobbie is harboring resentment towards her late father for keeping Isabella a secret from her.
Meanwhile, Bobbie also harbors romantic feelings towards head chef Emmett (Rex Linn), but Emmett is dealing with this realization that the woman he thought he was interested in, Monica the health inspector (Cheri Oteri), is actually just a friend.

Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet appeared in the season finale as Dr. Russ, the couples therapist who helped Bobbie and Isabella sort out their sisterly issues.
In an interview with NBC Insider, Stonestreet said, “I was just blown away by some of the realness of the dialogue between them and the beauty of the things that [Bobbie and Emmett) said to each other.
They’re showing what it’s like to be an adult, be experienced in relationships, and know how to navigate treacherous waters in the most respectful and best way for them. So I have a good feeling for them.”
Here’s a clip from Happy’s Place that charts the relationship between Bobbie and Emmett:
Happy’s Place Season 3 will debut October 23, 2026, with the show airing weekly on Fridays at 8pm Eastern and Pacific, 7pm Central.
